So now you have your Pizza Oven its time to experiment. Firstly you will need to fire up your oven and ensure its at the correct cooking temperature. 

For people that are experts we would suggest making dough, the art is then spinning the dough to get the right shape. !

Cook your stone based Pizza in 60 seconds

 Tasty Pizza Dough

This easy receipt makes 8 thin based pizzas.

  • 1 kg white flour 
  • 1 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 2 x 7 g dried yeast sachets
  • 4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

Method

  1. Firstly mix the flour, yeast and salt together, then stir in the olive oil and you can add a spoon of sugar. Gradually add the water but make sure you are mixing well, you should end up with a soft dough.
  2. Put the dough on to a floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes, until  is elastic and has a smooth look.
  3. Put the Dough into a bowl, cover with a damp towel and leave on the side to rise. You will need to leave this for about 1½ hours, until its doubled in size.
  4. Once the Dough has performed its magic you will need  to knead again until you get it nice and smooth. 
  5. Now the fun part, Rip the Dough apart and roll it into 6  balls and again set it aside for 45 minutes to risen again.
  6. Now lightly Flour your surface and put a ball down. Start rolling out your dough, these should be about 8 inches wide.
  7. Now its time for the topping !!

 

 

Magherita Pizza 

A Classic simple Pizza, perfect for kids and to also try your new Pizza oven. 

  • 3 tablespoons tomato sauce
  • ½ table spoon of Seasoning
  • 1 medium garlic clove
  •  Extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 ¾ ounces fresh mozzarella
  • 4 to 5 basil leaves, roughly torn

Method

1.     Get you fresh Pizza Dough and roll to the desired size. In a small bowl mix the tomato purée, seasoning and crushed garlic together and put to one side.

 

2.     Gently brush the dough with  a little olive oil, then spread the tomato sauce you have made over the pizza to create a tomato base. Make sure you cover to the edge.

 

3.     Drain the mozzarella and pat dry with kitchen paper, then cut up the mozzarella into slices or just tear up and spread it evenly over the pizza base.

 

4.     Scatter over the basil and then pop it in your stone baked Daintree pizza oven for about 60 seconds.

 

 

 

 

Hawaiian Pizza

 

A Classic simple Pizza, perfect for kids and to also try your new Daintree Pizza oven. You may feel the need to tweak the toppings to your desired taste, but this is what works for us! A Little Taste of Hawaii !

  • 3 tablespoons tomato sauce
  • ½ table spoon of Seasoning
  • 1 medium garlic clove
  •  Extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 ¾ ounces fresh mozzarella
  • 4 to 5 basil leaves, roughly torn
  • 2 pieces of tinned Pineapple
  • 8 mushrooms
  • 2/3 slices of ham

Method

  1. Get you fresh Pizza Dough and roll to the desired size. In a small bowl mix the tomato purée, seasoning and crushed garlic together and put to one side.

 

  1. Gently brush the dough with a little olive oil, then spread the tomato sauce you have made over the pizza to create a tomato base. Make sure you cover to the edge.

 

  1. Drain the mozzarella and pat dry with kitchen paper, then cut up the mozzarella into slices or just tear up and spread it evenly over the pizza base.

 

  1. Slice up the mushrooms into slithers and cut the pineapple into small chunks. Sprinkle the mushrooms and the Pineapple over the pizza then rip up the ham and put on the pizza.

Vegetarian Pizza

 

Easy Vegetarian Pizza Daintree Pizza oven. You may feel the need to tweak the toppings to your desired taste, but this is what works for us! 

  • 3 tablespoons tomato sauce
  • ½ table spoon of Seasoning
  • 1 medium garlic clove
  •  Extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 ¾ ounces fresh mozzarella
  • 2 pieces of tinned Pineapple
  • 8 mushrooms
  • ½ onion

Method

Passionate for Pepperoni Pizza

 

This is a beauty and one of our meaty melt in the mouth pizzas.  Try sprinkling out Chilli oil over this pizza. You may feel the need to tweak the toppings to your desired taste, but this is what works for us! 

  • 3 tablespoons tomato sauce
  • ½ table spoon of Seasoning
  • 1 medium garlic clove
  •  Extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 ¾ ounces fresh mozzarella
  • 10 Round pieces of Pepperoni
  • 1 rasher of bacon (can bee cooked for crispy bacon)
  • 1 Sausage (cooked)- ideally a spicy sausage
  • ½ onion

Method

  1. Get you fresh Pizza Dough and roll to the desired size. In a small bowl mix the tomato purée, seasoning and crushed garlic together and put to one side.

 

  1. Gently brush the dough with a little olive oil, then spread the tomato sauce you have made over the pizza to create a tomato base. Make sure you cover to the edge.

Full on Mega Meat Pizza

 

Mega meat is packed full of deliciosue meats. Ready to get your mouth watering. You may feel the need to tweak the toppings to your desired taste, but this is what works for us! 

  • 3 tablespoons tomato sauce
  • ½ table spoon of Seasoning
  • 1 medium garlic clove
  •  Extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 ¾ ounces fresh mozzarella
  • 8 Round pieces of Pepperoni
  • 2 rasher of bacon (can be cooked for crispy bacon)
  • 1 Sausage (cooked)- ideally a spicy sausage
  • 2 Slices of ham
  • Spicy beef chunks

Method

  1. Get you fresh Pizza Dough and roll to the desired size. In a small bowl mix the tomato purée, seasoning and crushed garlic together and put to one side.

 

  1. Gently brush the dough with a little olive oil, then spread the tomato sauce you have made over the pizza to create a tomato base. Make sure you cover to the edge.

Farmhouse Pizza

 

Try the classic farmhouse Pizza,  a real crowd pleaser and perfect for kids. You may feel the need to tweak the toppings to your desired taste, but this is what works for us! 

  • 3 tablespoons tomato sauce
  • ½ table spoon of Seasoning
  • 1 medium garlic clove
  •  Extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 ¾ ounces fresh mozzarella
  • 8 mushrooms
  • 2 x rasher bacon
  • ½ chicken breast
  • ¼ Mug of sweetcorn

Method

  1. Get you fresh Pizza Dough and roll to the desired size. In a small bowl mix the tomato purée, seasoning and crushed garlic together and put to one side.

 

  1. Gently brush the dough with a little olive oil, then spread the tomato sauce you have made over the pizza to create a tomato base. Make sure you cover to the edge.

 

  1. Drain the mozzarella and pat dry with kitchen paper, then cut up the mozzarella into slices or just tear up and spread it evenly over the pizza base.

 

Slice up the mushrooms, not to thick, then cut up the cooked Chicken and bacon into even slices and then grab all the toppings including the sweetcorn and sprinkle over the pizza evenly.

Daintree Magic Hot & Spicy Pizza

 

 

A real mouth rocket ! You may feel the need to tweak the toppings to your desired taste, but this is what works for us! 

  • 3 tablespoons tomato sauce
  • ½ table spoon of Seasoning
  • 1 medium garlic clove
  •  Extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 ¾ ounces fresh mozzarella
  • 10 x Circles of Pepperoni
  • ½ Onion
  • ½ Pepper (Green Ideally)
  • Spicy Beef
  • 10 x Jalopeno
  • Our Twist 1 x Birds eye Chilli

Method

  1. Get you fresh Pizza Dough and roll to the desired size. In a small bowl mix the tomato purée, seasoning and crushed garlic together and put to one side.

 

  1. Gently brush the dough with a little olive oil, then spread the tomato sauce you have made over the pizza to create a tomato base. Make sure you cover to the edge.

 

  1. Drain the mozzarella and pat dry with kitchen paper, then cut up the mozzarella into slices or just tear up and spread it evenly over the pizza base.

 

Place the pepperoni on the Pizza first. Slice up the Onion and the pepper into even slices, you can fry these before if you would prefer them softer, but it’s not necessary. Chop up the Chilli into small pieces and sprinkle evenly otherwise you might have a hot surprise!! Sprinkle the Onion, Pepper, Beef and Jalapenos over the pizza evenly.

Cheery Goat

 

Cheery Goat is delicious ! You may feel the need to tweak the toppings to your desired taste, but this is what works for us! 

  • 3 tablespoons tomato sauce
  • ½ table spoon of Seasoning
  • 1 medium garlic clove
  •  Extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 ¾ ounces fresh mozzarella
  • 1  x Roll of Goats cheese
  • ½ Onion, Caramelised.
  • Handful of Spinach
  • ¼ Red Onion

Method

  1. Get you fresh Pizza Dough and roll to the desired size. In a small bowl mix the tomato purée, seasoning and crushed garlic together and put to one side.

 

  1. Gently brush the dough with a little olive oil, then spread the tomato sauce you have made over the pizza to create a tomato base. Make sure you cover to the edge.

 

  1. Drain the mozzarella and pat dry with kitchen paper, then cut up the mozzarella into slices or just tear up and spread it evenly over the pizza base.

 

So, Cut up the Onion into thin slices and put in a frying pan to caramelise, leave to cool.

 

Slice up the Red Onion and put on the pizza along with the caramelised onion. Cut the goats cheese into slices. Rip up the spinach and sprinkle over the pizza.

Chilli Oil

Chilli oil is amazing with all pizza. Follow these simple instructions and get ready for a melt in your mouth expericen:

 

  • 450ml Olive Oil (Not Virgin)
  • . ½ x Packet Birds eye Chilli or 10 Chilli’s
  • 4 x Cloves Garlic

Method

  • Gently warm the olive oil in a saucepan. Add Chilli to the oil and heat for 3-4 minutes. Remove from the heat and leave the oil to cool slightly.
  • When the oil has cooled, carefully strain it into sealable glass bottle. Add Chillies from the pan, Chopped up garlic and then put in the bottle.
  • Keep the bottle in the refrigerator and use within one week. Some people do leave the oil to mature.
